Blue Watch from a local Fire Station, came into Batchwood to talk about the training that they must complete and the equipment they carry when fighting fires.  The Firemen must complete a 20 week course, which includes learning how to use all the equipment safely and correctly.  The basic training, also, includes literacy and numeracy skills which play a vital role both in their training and when they are working as firemen.
